Alan Ehrlich and Marconi's Daughter VWOA President Alan Ehrlich and Princess Elettra Marconi, the daughter of radio pioneer and former VWOA Honorary President Guglielmo Marconi.  The photograph was taken next to the VWOA-maintained Wireless Monument in Battery Park.  Marconi's yacht was also named Elettra and can be seen here.

Jack Poppele and Bill McGonigle in 1947 1947 photo of then VWOA President Bill McGonigle (president 1937-1960)  presenting  Memorial Service Award to Jack Poppele in his role as President, Television Broadcasters Association.  Jack would eventually succeed Bill as VWOA President serving from 1969-1977.
