Richard F. Waechter, Founder, Hoffman Island Radio Association, received the Marconi Gold Medal of Achievement for preserving the traditions of maritime radio in World War 2.   William F. Yerger, Archivist and Editor, received the Marconi Gold Medal of Achievement for preserving the history of maritime radio in World War 2. Richard Thomas Kenney, Maritime Relations Officer, AMVER, received the DeForest Audion Award for facilitating and contributing to the programs and activities of the Veteran Wireless Operators Association.
